At Sakakini on the Carfax we keep a carefully chosen selection of pre-loved jewellery and watches, and everything goes through the same preparation process before it reaches the display case. The collection changes regularly as new pieces come in from private sellers, estate pieces and part-exchanges.

Necklaces and pendants – chains, drops and pendants set with diamonds and other stones, in yellow gold, white gold and silver.
Bracelets – bangles, tennis bracelets, charm bracelets and link styles in various metals.
Watches – a changing selection including quality Swiss timepieces. Ask us about specific brands or models.
Earrings – studs, drops and hoops across metals and stone settings.
Stock turns over constantly. What’s here this week may be gone next, and new pieces come in all the time. It’s worth coming in regularly if you’re looking for something particular.
How we prepare each piece
Before anything goes on sale, every piece has been:
Cleaned – professionally, including ultrasonic cleaning where appropriate. Things come up looking as good as they can.
Checked – clasps, claws, links and settings all examined, and any issues sorted before the piece is offered.
Described honestly – if there’s wear or marks we can’t shift, we’ll tell you. We don’t hide things and price them as if they’re perfect.
The price
Pre-loved pieces from Sakakini can be up to 75% below their original retail price. That’s not a sale — it’s how pre-owned pricing works. The depreciation has already happened. You’re buying the jewellery, not the first-owner premium.
For diamonds in particular the savings can be striking. A diamond in a pre-loved setting is chemically identical to a new one. It just costs considerably less.
As a gift
A pre-loved piece can be a better gift than something bought new, especially for someone who cares about quality rather than novelty. The collection includes older styles and discontinued designs that simply aren’t available new anymore. That’s harder to replicate with a trip to a chain jeweller.

How do I know what’s in stock?
Come in, give us a call or take a look at our facebook to see what latest collections we have in stock.
Are the pieces genuinely in good condition?
Yes. We don’t put out things we’re not happy to sell. Where there’s wear we can’t address, we’ll tell you and the price reflects it.
Can a pre-loved piece be altered or resized?
Often yes. Rings can usually be resized, and other work may be possible depending on the piece. Ask when you come in.
Do pieces come with paperwork?
Some do, certificates, valuations or original receipts where they’re available. We’ll tell you what comes with each piece. If you need a valuation certificate for insurance, we can provide one.
Can I reserve something?
Come in and ask. We’ll do what we can.
